High Tech Combines Wedge and Strips
High Tech Tools has combined the in-door wedge and strip savers into one convenient opening tool, the Wedgee Wedge. The curved shape of High Tech’s in-the-door Wedgee Wedge makes insertion easy, bypassing the window sash channel which blocks regular wedge tools. The long length provides the necessary working room to insert tools into the door cavity. Kaba ADS PowerPlex No Longer Needs Pump Start
A pump of the lever is no longer needed to activate the PowerPlex 2000 series of pushbutton access control locks from Kaba ADS Americas. New proprietary PowerStar technology in the series does not rely on wiring or batteries. Instead, the locks use built-in super capacitor technology to store power up to 14 weeks with no activity. The lock provides access by entering a programmed PIN code, and allows free egress, eliminating concerns associated with issuing, controlling, and collecting keys or cards. Multiple key override options are available. Additional features include 1000 event audit trail, cylindrical, exit device and mortise installation compatibility, five levels of programmed authority accessibility andtamper-proof lock out and adjustable re-lock. The ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 locks have a three-year warranty. The new PowerPlex 2000 Series replaces all EPS2000 PowerStar push-button locks.

Lockmasters’ Shermanator Emergency Safe Dial
The Shermanator emergency dial works on all 5/16” spindles. At the spline key way, slide the Shermanator over the spindle turn the spindle and wheel pack with the handle. Locate the contact points, and slide the dial down next to the door and tighten the set screws with the dial on the correct number for the contact point. BEST interchangeable core kits and pins are now available from LAB distributors. The LAB brand kit for BEST A2 IC includes top pins 2B-19B in full hard brass and bottom pins 0A-9A in nickel silver. There are 100 top pins per size and 200 bottom pins per size. The LAB Mini DUR-X kit for Best A2 IC has 15 brass top/master pins, 10 nickel silver bottom pins, as well as BEST springs long and BEST caps. CLARK-Seattle Moves to Larger Facility
After months of planning and a weekend of hard work, CLARK Seattle has relocated to a newer, larger, and more accommodating facility at 21419 64th Ave S., Kent WA, less than two miles from its previous home. The branch is now co-located with CLARK’s parent company, Anixter International. The facility is fitted with skylights, and lights turn off in the warehouse to conserve electricity when they are not needed. Last year the facility recycled 8.2 tons of refuse. It also has a state of the art training facility, a larger will call and showroom area and a new phone system. The facility is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. The toll-free phone (800-942-5275) and fax (253-437-0791) remain the same.

Three new assortments are available for Ilco’s EH3LB non-battery key head. The Complete Cloning Key Pack (113LB-00-41) includes heads, modular blades and clonable transponder keys. The Edge Cut Cloning Key Pack (EH3LB) includes heads and blades for edge cut keys. The High Security Cloning Key Pack (EKLB-HS) includes heads and high security blades for security/sidewinder cut keys. The EH3LB replaces the EH3 and EH3P for owners of the RW4 Plus, Ilco EZ-Clone Plus or Plus Box. Owners of an RW4 or Ilco EZ-Clone need a Plus Box to utilize the head. Genericode Version 13 code software is now available. The program includes domestic and foreign codes including a new "Sidewinder Codes" section. An updated Vehicle section allows users to enter year, make and model and view code information for almost any vehicle. Reverse codes / progressions are also included. Genericode is compatible with almost all code cutting equipment in use today and will download to ITL 950, 9000 and Framon FRA-2001 code machines.
