The National Locksmith Certification Program
Welcome to The National Locksmith Certification program.
This testing certification program consists of multiple specific test
topics that you can choose at random. Each test contains 50 multiple
choice questions of which 40 correct answers are needed for a passing score.
Each completed and passed test is designated with a certificate of completion. For every five tests completed and passed, a framable certificate with accomplished letter designation is received.
For example:
- TNL-CL – Certified Locksmith designation after a total of 5 tests are passed.
- TNL-CLA – Certified Locksmith Advanced designation after a total of 10 tests are passed.
- TNL-CLM – Certified Locksmith Master designation after a total of 15 tests are passed.
- TNL-CLM II – Certified Locksmith Master II designation after a total of 20 tests are passed.
Tests are available online electronically - An email will be sent to you within 72 hours with a link to take the test.
Cost per test is $35.00 for Subscribers to TNL and their Bonded Employees. Non subscriber pricing per test is $75.00.
